Updates

I didn't get around to posting the last post until today, so I have the benefit of hindsight to provide some updates.

Beck got an A + at his check-up. The doctor said that he has great verbal skills and that he's happy with his weight gain. He's about 23 pounds and 34 inches tall.

Apparently, Beck was either playing us, or the timing was just right so that his fear of the dark disappeared when Grandma Tracey and Grandpa John were here to watch him. Also, and I'm going to type this in a whisper, the end of daylight savings time = 3 hour naps and almost 12 hours of sleep at night. Shhhhh! Don't tell the universe.

Las Vegas was just what we needed. I wish we lived closer to our parents, but because we all live so far apart, it makes for such a special treat when they come to stay with Beck for a few days. He didn't seem to miss us one bit, and we came home to a couple of meals in the fridge, chocolate chip cookies, banana bread, and a happy toddler. Thanks, Tracey and John!

Today is Thursday again, and I had a productive morning at work. Now, I need to get back to it.
